The Pomeranian Club Rescue
The Pomeranian Club rescue helps owners to rehome their poms by taking details of the pomeranian and the circumstances to which they are in.
A waiting list of all potential rehomers throughout the country is kept. If and when a pom becomes available we put suitable matches in contact with the person/persons relinquishing their pom. It is then up to the individuals concerned to make contact and discuss rehoming further; committee members of The Pomeranian Club are available throughout the process for help and advice.
The Pomeranian Club only ask that both parties involved in the rehoming process make a donation to The Pomeranian Club Rescue Fund to be used to support those poms that do need special care and assistance through rescue.
Only in exceptional circumstances will a committee member take in a pom to rehome directly and this can be discussed with the current owner at the time. Therefore Poms may be available throughout the country to potential rehomers.
Although we have a list of potential rehomers, as so few Pomeranians are needing rescue, the great majority on the list will not be needed. At the present time the waiting period for a pom is up to one to two years.
The Pomeranian Club is currently undergoing exciting changes for our breed rescue that will eventually involve all committee members making a joint effort in ensuring Poms in need find suitable and loving homes. We appreciate your patience during this period.
